Few Tools To Enhance Your Search Engine Optimization

This week we will introduce three tools which can help you in enhancing your search engine optimization. These tools are free.
#1 http://www.webconfs.com/domain-stats.php
It's a webpage to return statistics about your domain.
The statistics include Alexa Taffic Rank, Age of the domains, Yahoo WebRank, count of backlinks and number of pages indexed in Google, Yahoo, and Msn.
#2 http://www.123promotion.co.uk/tools/robotstxtgenerator.php
It's a free robots.txt generator. So, you will be able to direct the search engines to follow the pages structure of your website
and also direct the search engines not to index webpages of your website you don't want to be crawled.
Just fill in the fields and the robots.txt file is created. You can then upload to your root of your web server.
#3 http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
As we mentioned in previous article, sitemaps is important for websites because they help search engines crawl and index them.
The above URL provide a free sitemap generator. The xml sitemap created is followed the Google Sitemap schema, which can be used for Google Sitemap.
